Sea shipping is widely spread all over the world. As a rule, these are long-distance and superlong-distance shipments. Sea container shipment is a dynamically developing transportation method.

Sea vessels are the main transport for import and export: over 120 world countries are involved in international transportation. Linear carrying capacity of sea transport makes it possible to design and build vessels carrying up to some hundred thousand tons, which is impossible for other modes of transport. Sea shipping is characterized by rather low transportation prime cost, as sea transport uses the least amount of fuel per load unit.

That is why we can offer our customers the most beneficial conditions for delivery cost and storage conditions at the destination port. The tracking system locating containers with the customer’s cargo allows SWTrans experts to promptly provide information on every stage of cargo movement.

SWTrans offers both import and export sea shipping services. We forward freight both from Russian sea ports (Saint Petersburg, Novorossiysk, Vladivostok) and foreign sea ports (Finland, Germany, China, and others). After arriving in a sea port, your cargo can be moved to its final destination by rail or road. SWTrans ships oversized freight in high cube containers (20', 40'), and non-standard freight in flat rack containers, open top containers and LCL containers.
